The Government Meteorologist telegraphs that for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale. The weather will probably prove squally, with heavy showers. The night will probably be veiy cold. Barometer rising. Seas heavy; tides moderate.
