New Plymouth Harbour Board’s proposal, to raise a. loan of £600,000 For an extensive scheme of improvement and development, at the port was carried by a. poll of ratepayers of the han-hour district to-dav by 2696 votes to 129. A 'few returns’are not yet in from outlying booths.
