RACED BY AEROPLANE. SUN’S FLAMING CORONA. TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Dec. 5, 10.15 a.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 4. An. aeroplane will race the shadow of the moon 400 miles across New York State during the sun eclipse on January 24. Photographs will be taken from the plane of the sun’s flaming corona loir the purpose of an experiment worked out by Professor David load, to permit photography for a longer period than approximately the two minutes eclipse is visible from the earth.
