5. ADJOURNED MEETING. At the adjourned annual meeting of the Patea Licensing Committee today, Mr Bayley, on behalf of Joseph W. L. Mills, made application to carry on temporary premises in the Waitotara Hotel. Mr Bayley said that the building was being proceeded with, and was not yet completed. The chairman, Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., replied that a temporary license could not be extended over six monhs, and he advised a renewal of the license providing for the closing of the accommodation portion of the premises pending . the completion of the building. Mr Ba3 7 ley consented, and the bench agreed to issue the certificate as suggested. An application for the transfer of. a license from Robert D. Wilson to Chas. E.< Falkner was granted.
