BUSHMAN’S DEATH.
FATALITY' NEAR COROMANDEL. (ny TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. COROMANDEL, Dee. 2. in the Mahakirau bush on Saturday, while lowering a log down a gully by means oi a wire rope, T. Egan met injuries which resulted in his death in hospital. Owung to the weight of the log Egan was unable to retain his hold of the rope, t-lie end of which struck him on the head.
