INTERS VARSITY CONTESTS. BY 1 CABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION —CO I*iHUuHT LONDON, Nov 28. In the inter-’varsity relay races Cambridge, beat Oxford by three to two events. .Cambridge won the two miles by sixty yards in 8.7 4-5. The 480 yards hurdles went to- Cambridge by inches in 62 2-5. The New Zealander Porritt competed for Oxford. The four mil&s was won by Cambridge by 60 yards in 18min 30 l-ssec. The half-mile went to Oxford by two yards in 1.30 1-5. Porritt/competed. The mile was won by Oxford by 25 yards in 3.24 1-5.
