POLE COLLAPSES.
MAN SEVERELY INJURED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION. • ASHBURTON, Nov. 26. James Cairns, a young man employed by the power board in a Aviring gang on the Longbeach estate, Avas severely injured as- the result of the collapse of an old pole on which he Avas mounted. He was removed to hospital in a critical condition.
