BOY DODGES DRILL. A MOTORISTS’ OVERSIGHT. Two by-law cases were dealt with by Mr J._ G. L. Hewitt, S.M., at the Hawera Magistrate’s Court this morning. An oversight on the part of Frank Hodder, who drove his motor-car without a registration number, cost that gentleman a fine of £1 and 7s court costs. After successfully dodging two years’ drill, Janies B. Roberts, a Hawera boy, fell in for a fine of £1 and 7s cc[urt costs for failing to register under the Defence Act.
