THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.in. to-day the indications are. for northerly winds, strong to gale, prevailing and backing by north to west. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer falling; sea rough, tides good.
