Admiralty circles point out, with reference to the report from Australia, that the naval conference and the concentration of naval units to be held at Singapore in February is only another of a series of similar conferences previously held between the commanders of the China, Australian, and East India fledts for the purpose of strengthening points of strategy and the closer co-operation of vessels. The conference is m no way concerned with the political aspect of Singapore.
