NEW PLYMOUTH SITTINGS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATIONNEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 25. The Supreme Court sittings opened this morning before Mr Justice MacGregor. Percy Ashton Carter, who had pleaded guilty in the Lower Court to the theft of £2OO from Mrs Gertrude King and forging a memorandum of mortgage, was sentenced to two years’ hard labour on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent.
