WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Playing against Institute, Wellington made 66 (Bruges 22, Tuckwell 13). Badcock took six wickets for 24 and Malcolm three for 31. Institute made 158 (Banks 84, Dempster 32). Sharpe took four wickets for 48 and Maxwell three for 27.
Petone, batting against Y.M.C.A., compiled 149 (Brice 30, Bold 24). Sugden took three wickets for 36. Y.M.C.A. have lost nine wickets for
77 (Condiiffe not but 38, White 14). Finlayson took five wickets for 28. Midland were the whole of the afternoon at the wickets in their match against Thorndon, making 442 for nine wickets (J. W. Hutchings 113 not out, J. Hutchings 51, Dind 41, Grant 55, extras 53). Hvder took five wickets for 110 runs. Hutt dismissed Old Boys for 142 (Duncan 40, James 23). Nunn took five wickets for 37.
