Knibbs, said that at the present rate of consumption petroleum production cannot possibly continue much longer, nor can there ?)© any relief from the growing demands for spirit for power and burning. The world’s supplies will be exhausted within twenty years, he said, and the producting countries were certain to restrict tlie exportation of their oil •supplies.
