PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATION. With a AdeAv to. bringing to the notice of. householders the merits of the electric stove for cooking, a branch of business they liaise just introduced, the Electric Company arranged a practical demonstration of cooking by girls of the home science class at the HaAvera Technical High School. Under the direction of the home science mistress, Miss B. Earl, the girls cooked batches of scones and vmrious kinds of cakes. They turned out excellently and met Avith the utmost /satisfaction of the large number of householders avlio AA r ere present to: see ,the trials made. General satisfaction Avas expressed at the effectiveness of the The demonstration Avas so AA r ell reeerved that it Avas continued in the evening, and again there Avere a large number present.
