•n i Ver,y aixl ™vied programme will be presented by the Hawera Male Chou- in the Opera House to-morrow, Tuesday evening. The assisting artists engaged are Miss Kathleen \\ood (so.pra.no), of Wanganui, and ? !'■ olssi (baritone), Hawera, Miss Wood has been highly praised lor her appearances in Wanganui and other southern, towns, tier enunciation being described as perfect. She will be heard in two fine solos—“ One Fine Play,” from “Madame Butterfly, ’ and “Spring’s Awakening”’(Sanderson). Mr. Moss, whose spendid voice is. already most favourably known, will render “Bois EJpais’ (Lully) and “Harlequin” (Sanderson). The Hawera Male Choir Quartette (winners at the recent competitions) will contribute two numbers, and those who heard the quartette at the recent competitions festival will look forward with favourable anticipation to its reappearance.
