NEWSPAPER OPINION
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT
Received Nov. 17, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 16. The newspaper The People, commenting on the All Blacks,’ Victory against London Counties, says it is a surprise that at least five New Zealand forwards were not gent off. It witnessed repeated instances of tripping, backing and tackling a man without the ball, as well as sharp practises in play. It blames the referees for not checking the methods of certain All Blacks earlier in the tour.
