DOMINION WINTER SHOW.

SCHOOL AFFORESTATION. In acknowledgment of a copy of the school schedule, the Director of Forestry, Wellington, writes to Mr L. O. Hooker: “This information is very valuable, and we will incorporate your suggestion as far as practicable in our general forestry in the schools’ campaign throughout the Dominion.” This is a distinct tribute to the committee and secretary, and specially to Mr Rod Syme, of the Education Board, who initiated the scheme.
