• HAWERA A v. PARK. A banner match between Ilawera A and Park was played on the latter’s green yesterday afternoon under ideal weather conditions. Mr Stannard welcomed the visitors, and at the conclusion of play Mr A. 11. Hodge briefly returned thanks on behalf of Ilawera players, emphasising the fact that, although they had won, it was got so much the win as the good fellowship and enjoyable game that counted.
