SHEEPSKINS. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 7th inst.: —■ Sheepskins.—s3so hales of sheepskins offered, 4450 -bales sold. The attendance of buyers is good. English buyers are the principal operators. America bought about 25 per cent, of the offering. Good competition for all descriptions, especially keen on short woolled. As compared with last sale’s closing rates, merino combing skint? and half bred combing skins any change in. prices is in favour of sellers. Merino and ha.lfhred clothing skins 10 per cent higher; fine crossbred combing skins market firm, prices unchanged;-fine crossbred clothing skins 10 per cent higher; coarse , and medium crossbred combing skins 10 per cent higher; coarse and medium crossbred clothing skins 10 to 15 percent higher. Following is the range of prices: —Merino: Threequarter to full woolled 20d to 25d, quarter to half woolled l-5d to 20d, short and .shorn lid to 13d. Crossbred: Three-quarter to full woolled, fine 18d to 2od, medium and coarse 14d to 19. pi ; quarter to half woolled, fine lod to 20ftl. medium and coarse lid to 17d, short and shorn lid to 14jd. Lambs, 16d to 20id. FARMERS’ CO-OP. The Farmers’ Co-op. reports as follows: — At Urenui on Monday, the 10th inst., we held our usual fortnightly sale, and report a fair yarding. Quotations: — Fat ewes, shorn, 26/-; others, 22/6; fat. cows, to £6 7s 6d; cows with calves at foot, to £4 0s; forward bullocks, £0 Is to £5 18s; in.t. heifers to £3 13s; dairv heifers to £5.
