s— SUMMARY OF EXAMINATION RESULTS. The Taranaki Education Board has 71 young people appointed as pupilteachers and probationers. The following is a summary of the August-Sep-tember Teachers’* “D” examinations, 1924, as placed before the bpard yesterday : One pupil-teacher completed “C.’’ Five passed in three subjects of “C.” Nine passed in two subjects of “C.”Fourteen gained complete “D.” Thirteen gained partial pass in “D.” , Eight gained pass or partial pass in three groups, “D.” Seven gained pass or partial pass in two groups, ££ D.” Five gained pass or partial pass in one group, “D.” Eighteen show no results, but of these nine are sittnig for other examinations. Members of the board expressed the opinion that the report revealed a satisfactory position.
