AGED MAN’S DEATH.

VERDICT OF SUICIDE. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION- _ DUNEDIN, Nov. 12. At the inquest on Josiah Elphinstone, aged 75, who was found in the scrub near Cemetery Road with a. bullet wound in his head, it was shown that deceased suffered from an incurable disease. A verdict was returned that deceased shot himself while in a depressed state of mind due to illhealth.
