Casein.—French rennet unchanged Argentine lactic, £4O per ton Wool and Tallow.
Wool. —Bradford market strong,-and business increasing in merino and crossbred tops. Quotations are: Sixtyfours (merino), 6s 6d; fifty-sixes (super half bred), 4s 2d; forties prepared (coarse crossbred), 2s 4^d. Tallow. —Market quiet Present quotations are:—Mutton: Fine, 52s to 52s 6d ''per cwt.; fair to good,’ 49s to 51s; dark to dull, 45s 6d to 475. Beef: •Sweet and-or mixed, 51s 6d to 52 s 6d ; fair to good, 48s to 50s; dark to dull, 44s to 465. Mixed: Fair to good, 47s to 49s 9d; dark to dull, 44s to 45s 6dgut, etc., 40s to 455. ’ LONDON REPORTS. Ihe N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Affencv Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 7th iust. : N.Z. Frozen Meat—Lamb: ]9^d per lb (average). Mutton: Wether and maiden ewe, light 84*1 rer lb. heavy 7£d per lb; ewe, light 7-J-d per lb, heavy 6jjd per lb. Market firm. dairy produce. A. H. Turnbull and Co., of Christchurch, have received a cable from Messrs W. Weddel and Co. Ltd., dated London, 7tli inst., reading as follows: Danish butter 220 s to 224 s (236 s to 2385) ; New Zealand, salted 216 s to 218 s (222 sto 2245); market weak.
