VICTIM BURNED TO DEATH
BY CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT Received Nov. 12, 10.50 a.m. . PARIS, Nov. 11. A curious series of tragedies at Nice suggest the elements, of a firstrate detective story. Firstly .an unidentified body was recovered from the sea on Friday. Death, was due to burning, but the v ictim s clothes were without a trace of flames, so it was evident that the body was dresse*] after death. Later the naked body of a young Italian waiter named Millo was picked up in the sea and a derelict sailing boat found nearby. Laistly 'a ripped portmanlteau was found near the first body, containing several photographs spotted with blood, one of the photographs representing a group of three women. The police are now trying to link up the dead bodies, the boat, the portmanteau and the photographs.—Reuter.
