SEAMEN’S UNION THREAT. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AVELLINGTON, Nov. 5. The Alahana incident has ended in the missing man returning to, the ship, but five men have been arrested on a charge of disobeying lawful orders, and as to three of them there is a charge of assaulting the chief 'engineer. The Seamen’s Union held a. stop-work meeting, and resolved to declare the vessel black if any of the crew are imprisoned. The Maliana is still in the harbour.
