THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the -indications are for variable and strong breezes, but westerly moderate to strong prevailing and backing by west to south. Expect changeable and showery weather. The barometer has. a rising tendency. Sea rough swell; tides good.
