FLYING FORTUNE.
THOUSANDS SPOILT OF WIND. PHILADELPHIA. Oct. 18. A train'bound towards the city ran over a package of money dropped from an express on the rails at a country station, and the landscape for three miles along the tracks was liberally plastered with greenbacks. Seventy thousand dollars (£14,000) in five and ten dollar notes, became the sport of the wind, and blew gaily about in all directions. Officials recovered all except {iflOOdol, but Government bonds worth ten times that amount are missing.
