FAREWELL AT AUCKLAND. (BY TELEGBAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Nov. 2. The Governor-General had a busy day on Saturday with further farewell functions. Tlhe commercial travellers presented him with a billiard cue, while a great gathering of Girl Guides assembled in the Town Hall to bid him . adieu. In the evening he was entertained by Auckland yachtsmen and presented with a silver model of the Iron Duke, his fourteen-foot boat, which he has ‘raced with much success.
