Guy, £23 2s Gd; L. Slinger v. Billy Morehu. £1 Is; same v. Joe Tehonia, £2 ss; Duckworth and Co. v. Claude Kelly, £1 7s Gd. American clothes pegs cost about, 4s j lOd per case of five gross f.o.b. New York, and 13s 2d delivered, duty paid, in a Sydney warehouse. The duty D 7« Gd per case, imposed to protect a Melbourne factory employing 35 hands. It is estimated that Australia’s annual requirements of clothes pegs amount to a million gross, so that the.
