A SPRIG OF HEATHER.

FROM CCLLODEN FIELD. A most interesting memento of C-ul-loden Field has been received in Ilawera in the form of a piece of heather pulled from between the graves of the various, clans who took part in the battle around the standard of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The heather was sent by Mrs J. Henson, of Hawera, to the Burns Club, of which Mr W. G. Simpson is president, and the gift has been gratefully acknowledged by Mr Simpson on behalf of the club. Mrs Henson is returning to Hawera shortly after an absence of 18 months on a visit to the Old Country.
