SOUTH AFRICA.
A TOURIST’S OPINION. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Oct. 28, 2.40 p.m. CAPETOWN, Oct. 27. Sir John Luke, a member of the New Zealand Parliament, interviewed, said he looked upon South Africa as essentially a country offering every opportunity.to young men and for the introduction of capital. There was an immense hack country, which could not possibly be brought into production by a minimum of expenditure. It called for considerable capital. There were enormous resources still untapped, which offered an excellent remunerative field for capital.
