THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day. The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong, and veering by west to north, then freshening; there ,is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness for change to follow; barometer falling shortly; sea moderate swell; tides good.
