CRITICISM OF AUSTRALIANS. CHICAGO, Oct. 6. An. American newspaper writer, Mr. Floyd Gibbons, who arrived here two months ago, tells his Chicago readers all about Australia. He talks of a “country of contradictions,” of some “repugnant perversities,” and declares that ,‘theatre audiences turn their tacks on the National Anthem, for which 60,000 Anzacs died.”
