The naval authorities were informed that General Feng-yuh-siang had deserted Wu-pei-fu, and on Thursday had seized Peking with his division. Feng issued a proclamation that he intends to put an end to the war,, and may also replace the President by Tuan-chi-jui. The Presidential palace is surrounded with troops and order is being maintained in the city. Wireless is the only means of communication with Peking.
