APPEAL FAILS.
A NEW PLYMOUTH CASE (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Oct. 24. The Court .of Appeal dismissed the appeal of AVilliam Lamb .against Ids sentence. Lamb was convicted in.the lower court at New Plymouth of carnal knowledge and was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment with hard labour.
