COMPETITIONS QUESTION. . (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATIONWELLINGTON, Oct, 22. The Wellington. Education Board today resolved that with regard to the competitions held during the term of the holidays “The Board is strongly of the opinion that the entry of very young children, say up to ten years at ieast, into pifblic competitions should be discouraged. Apart from other reasons, this method of spending the holi--jujh appears to defeat its main, purpose of rest and refreshment.”
