FIRE AT M.P.’S HOUSE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT (Received Oct. 21, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 20. While the Rt. Hon. F. D. L. Acland, Liberal candidate for Tiverton, was reading the lesson in church he was summoned home to Kellerton Park, where fire destroyed eight rooms, including his study. All his election papers and -correspondence were lost. The damage is £IO,OOO. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
