NEGOTIATIONS ABORTIVE. BY CABLE —PRE3S ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. Received Oct .17, 2.30 p.m. BERLIN, Oct. 16. The protracted negotiations with a view to including Nationalists in the Government have broken'down. A conference between the Chancellor qnd the leaders of Government parties to-day agreed to further negotiations, with a view to.widening the basis. The Government did not promise success. This decision was reached after the Centre Party had passed a resolution in favour of new elections if no other solution of the difficulty could he found.
