THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m to-day the indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale at times and hacking hv norther to west. The weather appears .likely; to he cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected. Barometer falling, but rising after about twenty-four hours. Seas heavy, tides good.
