" : 9 ~ : The Government Meteorologist telegi aplied that for the 24 hours from 9 a.in to-day the indications are for easterly winds, moderate to strong and backing by west to no*th, then freshen--mg for a storm which appears to be approaching from the west in the beginning of the week. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled at times. The barometer is unsteady ; seas considerable swell, tides good.
