FURTHER DISORDERS. FAST BY GANDHI. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Sept. 26, 11.50 a.m DELHI, Sept. 25. Nine were killed and over 100. injured in a suburb of Lucknow as a result of trouble between Hindus and Mohammedans. A big Mahcmmedan mob attacked a railway station mercilessly, maltreating all the Hindus they met. They also damaged a motor-car in which was seated a prominent British official of the civil service. Gandhi, in a statement, deplored the annalling communal animosit3’, and reaffirmed liis decision to continue his 21 days’ fast as aii expiatory prayer, —- Sydney Sun Cauie.
