Inter-communal rioting in’ India has grown to an alarming extent, the latest danger zone being Shahjehanpor, in the Puujaub, where three people were killed, aiwl fifty -injured-, in prolonged street fighting, The authorities have , been compelled to proclaim a curfew. This is at a time when Gandhi is fasting for twenty-one days as a prayer for communal peace and unity at the conference meeting in Delhi.
