Bit CABLE—PB-ESB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Sent. 23, 10.55 a.m. LONDON, Sent. 22. Mr Ernest Blythe, Free State Minister of Finance, in a speech at Clones, contended that the rignt of self-deter-mination should be given to the Nationalist minority in the six counties, as it is given to the anti-Naticnalist minority in Ireland. The British Gov•egnment,. since the Treaty, had given the Free State a square deal, and he believed that as regards the boundary they would get a square deal, despite the bitter hostile campaign at present being conducted in Britain. Regarding r. • suggestion that Sir James Craig and Mr Ccsgrave- should meet again, Mr Blythe said that in view or the Northern leaders’ attitude of “what we have we will hold’’ any further negotiations would .be a sheer waste of tim«.—Reuter.
