(From Our* Own Correspondent.) The children were favoured with lovely weather for their show last Friday. The blooms were staged in the school by Mr Palmer, and made a very brave show, especially as they were nearly all first attempts. Mr Palmer also did the judging, and deserves great praise for his interest in this, branch of the school work and all the trouble he goes to on behalf of the children. t', • ow i n S is the prize list: Daffodils—One long trumpet, Jack Palmer 1, Annie Coxhead 2, Kathleen Coxhead 3; three long trumuets, J. Palmer 1, Mabel Horgan 2; one medium trumpet, Kathleen Coxhead 1, Bessie Allen 2, Peggy Templeton 3; three medium trumpets, A. Coxhead 1, Grace Hughes 2, Hilda Tindle 3: one short trumpet, M. Gilshnan 1, Lily \\ atson 2; three short trumpets, Eva Gilshnan 1, Jack Palmer 2; one bunch flowered, Mabel Horgan 1, Edie Gil2riv°V,e double ; Lily Watson 1, Hilda Tmdle 2, J. Quite a difficulty was experienced in separates the champion, a beautiful Lord iioberts finally gaining it on texture. Afternoon tea was handed round to tne children before leaving for home " e, l pleased with their first sprint* show and proudly displaying their prize tickets.
