TAKING OPOSSUMS. •'BY TF* j.r. -.(irot .or ' NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 19. In the Magistrate’s Court, Thomas Stanley Humphrey was fined £7 and costs on two charges .of unlawfully talking opossums at Oakura, and being illegally in possession of twelve opossum skins. The same accused was also remanded to Auckland cm a charge of securing £6 15s from AY. R. Ormanby at Oakleigh, in November last, and failing to account fca- the same as required.
