ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
YOUNG MAN DROWNED. A drowning accident occurred at Awakino yesterday morning. While fording the Awakino River, Duncan Hepburn, aged .19, lost his life, and the body has not been recovered. Constable Blaikie, who reported the occurrence to the New Plymouth police, stated that dragging operations would be continued to-day.
