The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a ; .m. to-day the indications are fc,r variable and moderate breezes, but southerlv moderate to strong prevailing. Weather will probably be cold and changeable, with’ scattered show* ers. The barometer has a rising tendency. Seas moderate; tides good.
