FIRPO-WILLS FIGHT.

NEW YORK, Sept. 13. The Prince of Wales did not attend the Firpo-Wills fight, but Lord Mountbatteu and other members of'the Royal party did, and the crowd, in the excitement of welcoriiing the Royalties, got out of hand, mistaking Lord Mountbatten for the Prince and pressing forward so that the visitors were in. danger of being, swept off their feet. Finally police reinforcements broke up the crowd and made a path for the visitors.
MATCH AT SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Sept. 14. At the Stadium, Hughie' Dwyer was awarded the verdict against Charlie Pilkington (America) on a foul, hitting low in the fifteenth round. The contest itself was of poor quality. Pilkington, whose methods were distinctly unorthodox, was outclassed. Chief interest arose after the verdict was delivered, when Pilkington rushed and struck Dwyer. The latter responded, but before any damage' was done, amidst lvild excitement, the men were separated, the lights turned down, and the house cleared. Pilkington subsequently expressed sorrow at losting his bead. CONTEST AT MELBOURNE. MELBOURNE, Sept. 14. At the Stadium, Billy Grime easily outpointed Joe Fox in twenty rounds.
