MUTINY IN ARMY
GOVERNMENT POWERLESS
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPY BIGHT ATHENS, Sept. 11. Greece is threatened with a serious mutiny. It originated with officers of the Thirty-fourth Regiment, all of whom have been arrested, and they will be severely punished. The Government’s severity, however, is powerless to check the movement, and a mutiny on a grand scale is being planned for the forthcoming manoeuvres.
Defalcations running into immense V sums have-been committed by officers having access to the military funds. A number of arrests have been made.
