WOMAN’S CLAIMS.
ALLEGED NEGLIGENCE AT • HOSPITAL.

At the Supreme Court, Hannah McKenzie, a married woman, claimed £IOO9 damages from the Waikato Hospital Board for alleged negligence. Plaintiff alleged that she was burned by a hot water bottle while a patient in the hospital. After much evidence had been taken the parties conferred and arrived at a settlement, and the plaintiff withdrew the allegations of negligence against the board or its servants.
