English tourists, Carr, Patterson, and Miss Carr, • were climbing near Monte Rosa, accompanied by a guide and a porter, when the rone broke and Miss Carr and the porter fell into a crevasse. Carr descended into the crevasse and recovered the body of his daughter, but. the porter’s body is missing.— Reuter. °
